The Women’s Zone 4 came into being with the merger between the previous
British Columbia Ladies Golf Association and the British Columbia Golf Association
in October of 2004. Prior to that merger our Women’s Clubs were from the
former District 2 and about half of the former District 5.
These Districts had a long and proud history in the development of women’s
golf in much of the Lower Mainland The partnership with the
former BC Golf Association creates an even better opportunity for all aspects
of golf to grow in the Lower Mainland.

Our Zone encompasses many areas including Vancouver,
North & West Vancouver, Richmond, Delta, Whistler, Pemberton,
Squamish and the Lower Sunshine Coast.
There is a rich history of Amateur, Senior &
Junior Championships carried forward from the former Districts. The future
looks bright and we are excited about working with the Men’s Zone as true
partners in the New Zone 4. |
